This 7 days and 6-night safari covers two great countries in Africa; Uganda and Tanzania. You will visit your relatives, the endangered mountain gorillas who share approximately 98% of human DNA and other similar characteristics to humans, and stay in Bwindi impenetrable national park, explore Kampala city, spot the rare Impalas in Lake Mburo national park and encounter the Big five (lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos and leopards) at the famous Serengeti national park. The safari commences in Uganda and ends in Tanzania.

Day 1: Pickup and Kampala city tour
When you land at Entebbe international airport, meet our driver guide who will brief you about the 7 days experience as well as share a glass of Juice with you. Thereafter, he will respond to all inquiries before setting off for a Kampala city tour whereby you will visit Uganda Museum, and the local markets to purchase a few missing items before having Lunch and proceeding to your lodge for dinner and a comfortable nap.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel for a 7-8 hour drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park situated in the southwestern part of Uganda. You will enjoy the fascinatinating views of the rolling hills, scattered homesteads in the countryside, and green plantations.
While enjoying this epic drive, expect an en-route lunch stopover, followed by dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3: Morning gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural encounter
At the crack of dawn, you will enjoy your hefty cup of coffee, followed by a drive to the sectors headquarters where you will be registered and briefed about the unforgettable activity in the Jungle of Bwindi.
The park rangers will explain to you about the different habituated gorilla groups, the dos and don’ts governing the park, and then allocate you to a particular gorilla family for tracking; an exercise that can last for two to eight hours depending on your speed and the direction the gentle Apes have taken.
On meeting these creatures, the park ranger will reward you with one hour of taking photos, watching the youngsters play, the mothers nurse their young ones and the giant silverbacks pose for your snap.
After the tracking exercise, proceed with a lunch break and a rewarding 2-3 hours visit to the Batwa pygmy communities, the shortest people in Uganda who lived a life of fruit gathering and hunting in the jungle of Bwindi and Mgahinga forests.
They will dance, sing and show you their caves and ancient tools. When all is done and dusted, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Depart Bwindi for Lake Mburo national park and boat cruise in the afternoon.
At daylight, you will check out of the lodge after breakfast for a 5-6 hours’ drive to Lake Mburo National park, while traversing beautiful sceneries, watching the Ankole long-horned cattle and the locals carrying on with their daily activities.
Enroute, you will have lunch and photo moments of bustling towns, Ankole plain lands filled with banana plantations and Ankole long horned cattle.
Thereafter, you will proceed to Lake Mburo national park for a rewarding boat cruise in the afternoon that gives you a chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles and birds before driving to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Nature walk in Lake Mburo N/park and fly to Serengeti national park
As the sun peeps so will be greeting your taste glands with a delicious cup of coffee, followed by a 2-3 hours’ nature walk around this beautiful park. Lake Mburo national park is free from predators and dangerous cats (lions and leopard among others) thus freedom to traverse the area on foot as you watch the beautiful landscape, rare tree and bird species, the impalas, zebras, eland antelopes, giraffes and buffaloes.
After the nature walk, return and check out the lodge for an amazing drive to Entebbe international airport where you will get a regional flight to Serengeti national park in Tanzania.
Upon landing, you will meet our company representative who will brief before taking you to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Morning game drive and visit the Masai homesteads
Wake up in the morning for a heavy breakfast before heading to the savanna grassland of Serengeti national park for a 3-4 hours’ search of the different mammals such as wildebeest, Lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, and elephants among other in action.
It is not a must that you will see your favorite gem though they are in this place because this is a wilderness and the mammals and birds roam freely, in search of foliage and water.
Afterwards, enjoy a mouth-watering meal, before visiting the Masai people who will celebrate your success with the beats of the African drum, sweet melodies, unforgettable stories, and a gift of souvenirs; such as local wear, footwear or a cap for a price. End this day in your lodge with a tasty meal and a peaceful nap.
Day 7: Half day game drive and departure
At Daybreak, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee before heading for a 3-4 hours’ game drive in the vast savanna grassland of Serengeti national park. You will look out for both the hunters and the hunted such as the waterbucks, zebras, warthogs, lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, plus the rare bird species and plant species that inhabit this place.
Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for an early lunch and then check out of the lodge for a drive to the airport for your onward flight.
