6 Days Uganda Wildlife Fly In Luxury Safari

This tour will take you to the most interesting destinations, where you will have a chance to spot the big five animals and other attractions like the primates, tree species, bird species, sleep in luxurious lodges with swimming pools and massage parlors. The safari covers 3 national parks and one wildlife sanctuary. It will also involve fly-drive to different destinations.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Murchison falls and visit Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

On your arrival or after your breakfast at the hotel, you will meet and be briefed about this luxury tour for 6days and 5nights by your assigned driver guide and after starting a journey to Murchison falls national park, in a well-aerated 4×4 vehicle.

The park is the largest conservation area in Uganda covering an area of 3,840sq.km and it lies in the northern end of the Albertine rift valley and also divided into two sectors by the Nile river- the Longest River in the world. The northern part contains savannah with trees like Borassus palms, acacias, and the southern part containing woodland forests and punches.

While on the way, you will have two major stopovers i.e. one being on the Luwero fruit market for photos and buy some fruits (on your cost) and another one at Ziwa for rhino trekking. This is the only place in Uganda where you will be able to trek the white rhinos in the wilderness.

Other attractions that can be spotted here are different antelopes, hippos, bird species, and primates like monkeys. Have your lunch en-route at Kabalega dinners and after proceeding with the journey to the booked luxury accommodation.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in the afternoon then hike to top of the waterfalls

Embark on an early game drive in the northern sector where you will be able to spot several wildlife like lions, elephants, leopards, and antelopes like oribis, Jackson heart beasts, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, and waterbucks, among others.

Then it will take you the hippo pool and slice out your fruits as you spot a school of hippos in the Albert Nile. After, find your way back to the lodge and relax at the pool ground as you take your late breakfast.

Take a private boat cruise on River Nile after a delicious lunch where you will spot the Nile crocodiles, hippos, and at the banks enjoy the warthogs, elephants and different antelopes. Then it will take you to the bottom of the falls and then hike to the top of the falls, which is a rewarding experience.

At the falls, the water squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the devil’s cauldron creating a trademark rainbow. After, transfer to the lodge in the southern sector.

Day 3: Fly to Kibale national park and Crater Lake experience

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and later on transfer from Pakuba airstrip to board a scheduled flight to Kibale national park in western Uganda. Kibale is home to More than 13 primates.

It’s also famous for its wondrous research centre in the whole of Africa due to its wildlife like trees, mammals, unique bird species, butterfly, reptiles among others. The journey to this park is rewarding as you pass through the tea plantations, banana (Matooke) plantations, beautiful hills, farmlands which give beautiful scenery.

Have lunch in Fort-portal town, the only town with an English name in Uganda. Proceed to Kasenda-Ndali craters to experience the beauty of these lakes. They are so attractive with different features, take part in fishing, canoeing among others. Late in the evening, you will transfer to the luxury lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi swamp walk

Your assigned driver guide will transfer you to the tourist information centre in Kanyanchu after your breakfast and the warden will quickly take you through briefing session.

This will give you wide knowledge about the forest and its inhabitants like the mammals, primates, reptiles, among others. Also, the dos and don’ts will be well explained to you like no making noise, not using flashlights while taking photos among others.

Trekking will take 2-4 hours depending on where you locate our beautiful cousins. You will be awarded a certificate after trekking and then head to the lodge for mid lunch.

Swamp walk in Bigodi will be the next activity as you will be able to spot several primates like white and black colobus monkeys, Vervet monkeys, red-tailed monkeys among other bird species like the great blue turacos.

This swamp acts as a corridor for various primates as named above. In the evening, you will transfer back to the lodge for your hot dinner.

Day 5: Travel to Queen Elizabeth N/P and afternoon boat cruise

Take a leisure breakfast and after travel to the world melody of wonders in queen Elizabeth national park. The park is well known for harbouring the rare tree-climbing animals.

Other mammals include antelopes, elephants, warthogs, buffalos among others. The road trip to this conservation area is rewarding with several attractions such as crater lakes, glaciers on top of mountain Rwenzori, rivers like Nyamwamba, and local markets among others.

Lunch en route will be in Kasese town and after head to the park to catch up with the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This will reward you with hippos, crocodiles, among others. later after 2-3 hours, you will check in the luxury lodge.

Day 6: Morning game drive and fly to Kampala/Entebbe airport

Wake up early and head for a morning game drive to catch up with early raisers like the lions, leopards, spotted hyenas among others, also spot animals like elephants, herds of buffalos, jackals, warthogs among others.

Then after the game drive, you will head to the lodge and take your mid breakfast, as you wait for your next scheduled/charter flight to Entebbe/Kajjansi. Then it will be followed with a drop off at Entebbe international airport or at the hotel which will mark the end of your 6 days wildlife luxury safari.
